Norwich University is preparing for its annual graduation weekend celebration, where more than 920 students will receive their degrees and be commissioned or honored. The events kick off on Friday, April 26th, with the Master’s Hooding Ceremony at 4:00 pm in the Shapiro Field House.
The following day, Saturday, April 27th, will feature the main Commencement ceremony at 10:00 am, also held at Shapiro Field House. The distinguished keynote speaker will be retired U.S. Air Force General Lori Robinson, whose 36-year military career culminated in her groundbreaking role as the first woman to command a major Unified Combatant Command.
A Joint Commissioning Ceremony is scheduled for 3:00 pm on the 27th, with the keynote address delivered by 1985 Norwich alum U.S. Air Force General Thomas A. Bussiere. Gen. Bussiere currently serves as Commander of Air Force Global Strike Command and Commander of Air Forces Strategic-Air for U.S. Strategic Command.
Following the joint ceremony, individual commissioning ceremonies for Air Force, Naval/Marine, Army ROTC, and Platoon Leaders Course graduates will take place at 4:30 pm, with locations below.
