It has recently come to our attention that our recent special edition print issue has several errors, particularly with the sports content on both page 5 as well as in the “Hill Highlights” 2025-2026 recap. A majority of the final conference records are inaccurate, certain co-ed sports like tennis were separated into men and women’s teams, and the inclusion of a track & field team was misleading, given that there is no such team at Norwich
The Guidon would like to sincerely apologize for these mistakes, and we will be correcting them in the online reposting of our printed articles and content. Our staff was hard at work in the weeks leading up to the release of issue, but we still have a long way to go in terms of meeting the standards and reputation we once upheld. We plan to use this mistake as an opportunity to not only hold ourselves accountable as student journalists, but also to grow as a news organization and strengthen our reporting/editing practices.
