The Guidon is back
The Guidon kicked off its yearlong 100th-anniversary celebration Oct. 28 with a special keynote address by President Mark Anarumo.
“Since this is a campus newspaper, I am hopeful both cadets and civilians join the staff and be part of the effort to get the Guidon back to full health,” Anarumo told a crowd of about 60 students, faculty and administrators in Mack Hall before cutting The Guidon’s birthday cake.
The kickoff party was the first event to celebrate the newspaper’s 100th anniversary. The redesigned website also premiered Tuesday. More events are being planned.
