Future NASA astronaut student helps tests uranium samples for NU professor

My name is Amrutaa Vibho, and I am from New Delhi, India.
I am working as a Research Student for the VBRN Grant for Dr. Sarah Gallant’s research in the Extraction of Uranium in Drinking Water. My job is to calibrate and test the Uranium Samples on the Spectrophotometer and obtain a linear solution for the model that could predict the concentration of Uranium in a given drinking water sample.
What drew me to Norwich: I aspire to be an astrophysicist and NASA Astronaut.
In hopes of integrating astronautics and astrophysics, I want to pursue an Aviation Contract with the US Marine Corps. Norwich as the founding institution of ROTC enables me to pursue that path as a noncitizen who could otherwise not receive the same training.
