NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The New England Football Writers unveiled their award winners at their awards gala Thursday night. Among the honorees was Norwich University senior Trevor Chase (Eliot, Maine) who was named to the Division II/III All-New England Team as a Wide Receiver.

This is the latest accolade for Chase who was recently named to D3Football.com’s All-Region team on top of being the Offensive Player of the Year in the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC). The two-year captain has also set many school receiving records in his three-year tenure.

The New England Football Writers named 32 players from 22 different schools across the region to the All-New England team, including seven representatives from the NEWMAC. Chase becomes the first Cadet named to the team since Manni Romero was honored in 2019. Other receivers honored were Dev Holmes from the University of New Haven, Phil Lutz from Tufts University and Angel Sanchez of UMass Dartmouth.
