Eugene Nyaberi is a current sophomore in the Corps of Cadets, majoring in international business with a concentration in Corporate Finance. He is currently pursuing both PLC and Naval Battalion programs in hopes of commissioning in the United States Marine Corps.

An extracurricular activity that holds a special place in his heart, is the Norwich University Scouting Association (NUSA) where he is actively working as the Administration and Personnel Officer for NUSA. Nyaberi states he finds great satisfaction in building and refining teams from the ground up and experimenting with various organizational frameworks.

One of his favorite pastimes is lacrosse and has a deep-rooted passion for the sport. He had been playing lacrosse for the past 4 years.

The reason why he came to Norwich was because he saw it as a unique and once-in-a-lifetime experience; the Marine Corps options and the rich military structure and culture that this institution offers. In the words of Elon Musk, a quote resonates with him, “It’s okay to have all your eggs in one basket as long as you can control what happens to that basket.” This philosophy drives my dedication and commitment to my chosen path here at Norwich University.
